The weather in Agra is quite diverse throughout the year. Summer (March to September) is very long and extremely hot at times, with average temperatures hitting a maximum of over 40°C during the months of May and June. Agra weather brings about heavy rainfall during the monsoon months of July and August. Winter (November to February) is still quite warm, but the city can fall below freezing at night, and bouts of heavy fog are common.

October offers best period to carry out outings in Agra. The climate remains excellent and dry. Moreover, the natural greeneries appear attractive after showers.
Winter in Agra comes in late November and lasts till February. The average temperature fluctuates between 4 to 36°C. It is the best season to visit Agra. Although nights remain chilly in this season, days are warm. January is the coldest month of the year when the average low drops below 1°C. Overall the period remains suitable enough for relaxing moments and outdoor tourist activities.
